  • Position Summary

    Avineon is seeking a UI/UX Developer to add to our team. The UI/UX Developer will analyze the systems and technical requirements for a large, geographically dispersed defense auditing organization.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Review and develop use cases, business case analyses, etc., and develop requirements for an enterprise IT transformation. Assist in the development of prototypes to satisfy these requirements.
    • Design new and improve on existing user interfaces for current and future state agency business information systems.
    • Assess user interface of installed and planned agency business information systems to identify areas for improvement and core focus.
    • Develop and maintain core look and feel of user interfaces across agency business information systems.
    • Implement user interfaces across different types of new and pre-existing systems including Angular (2+), .NET MVC, and SharePoint sites.
    • Assist in implementing “back-end” of web applications – APIs and traditional MVC sites.
    • Apply Agile principles and practices for effective and efficient delivery of products that meet business goals.
    • Write clear, concise, and complete documents. Participate in collaborative authoring of use cases, business case analyses, briefing content, white papers, and other content intended to communicate progress.


    Education - Experience & Skills Required

    • 3 years experience in web development, preferably .NET.
    • Mastery of CSS implementation and maintenance.
    • Experience working within a team. Agile methodologies and git source control are a plus.
    • Knowledge and proficiency with at least two of:
      • ASP.NET MVC (C#)
      • JavaScript/TypeScript (with and without frameworks)
      • Single Page Applications (Angular 2+ in particular)
      • SharePoint
      • Single-Sign-On/Federation technologies
      • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
    • Knowledge and understanding of DoD’s System Requirements Analysis Guide (SRA).
    • Knowledge and understanding of DoD Architectural Framework (DoDAF) diagrams.
