  • Position Summary

    As a result of continued growth, Avineon, Inc. is actively seeking Federal Business Development Analysts. The successful candidate(s) must provide demonstrated results in support of federal business development efforts, primarily in the civilian markets.  The ideal candidate should have experience working in federal contracting and have shown increasing responsibilities in support of opportunity capture processes.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Proactively support all phases of corporate federal business development initiatives.
    • Conduct regular searches of industry databases (e.g., GovWin, FedBizOpps, etc.) to identify and track potential opportunities.
    • Coordinate the research and development of capture, call, and account plans.
    • Support customer meetings with an emphasis on increasing responsibilities within those meetings.
    • Gather competitive intelligence and assist with teaming gap analysis.
    • Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis, and monitor competitive activity. Develop and produce pipeline reports and analysis data for presentation to executive team. Support the proposal manager and proposal team, as required.

    Education - Experience & Skills Required

    • Two years of experience in federal information technology with a focus on business development.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills along with solid interpersonal skills.
    • Working knowledge of information technology fields.
    • Exposure to project and program management principles, and the federal government acquisition process.
    • Industry certifications are a plus.
